Abstract: We studied the influence on seed germination and seedling growth of transgenic corn with Bt gene and its receptor Zheng 58 by seeds soaked with different concentrations of NaCl solution and the results showed that under the same treatment, seedling physiological ecology of transgenic corn with Bt gene seemed superior to their recipient parents Zheng 58,but there was no significant differences in the germination rate. When treated with 50 mmol/L or 100 mmol/L NaCl,maize germination and seedling growth showed a certain role in promoting, while the vigor of maize seeds and germination rate reduced under treatment of 400 mmol/L NaCl,the growth of seedlings was also inhibited.Introduction of exogenous gene Bt of maize had no significant effect on the Salt tolerance.
