Abstract:

Rosa spinosissima is valuable germplasm resource for modern rose breeding.R.spinosissima with a wide distribution range has high dormancy characteristics, seed germination is difficult and seed propagation cannot be carried out.It studied the changes of seed contents under different storage methods to explore the factors affecting seed germination. The contents of hormones, organic components and enzymes were respectively determined by ELISA and microassay. The contents were analyzed and compared by one-way analysis of variance and significance test. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the content of seed hormone before and after the accumulation of R.spinosissima.Low temperature sand storage treatment could change the content of organic components and reduce the content of soluble protein, starch and soluble sugar in R.spinosissima seeds. The antioxidant enzyme activities of R.spinosissima seeds were greatly affected by sand storage treatment, and the antioxidant enzyme activities of R.spinosissima seeds were significantly increased after 10 months of low temperature sand storage and sowing.Low temperature treatment was not the main reason to limit the germination of R.spinosissima seeds, but was beneficial to relieve the dormancy of R.spinosissima seeds. It provided some theoretical basis and practical experience for further large-scale production and propagation of wild Rosa resources in Xinjiang.
