QTLs Mapping of Salt Tolerance during Germination in a BCZS3 Population:Solanum lycopersicum 9706 Solanum cheesmanii

Abstract

Abstract: An advanced backross BCz S3 population consisted of 130 individuals was constructed from the crossbetween Solauum opersicum 9706 and Solauum cheesmauii LA0317.A total of 55 SSR and 26 CAPS markers wereused to construct a linkage map. Using MQM mapping method 9 QTLs of salt tolerance were detected during germina-tion stage totally among which 5 QTLs conferring germination index located nn chromosome 2，7，10，11 respectivelyand 4 QTLs conferring germination rate located nn chromosome 1 3 8，12 respectively. Fourteen families with high salttolerance were obtained which contained at least one of the major effect QTLs thus they could be used as breedingmaterial.
