Abstract: Based on an EST of Medicago Sativa L A full length of 1638 by alfalfa Aluminumetivatedmalate transporter protein gene was isolated by apid amplification of eDNA ends(RACE),the gene was named11s ALMT.The sequence analysis has revealed that ALMT contains a maximum open reading frame of 1344 byencoding a protein of 448 amino acids. The amino acid sequence compared by blast revealed high homology with ALMT of many other plants. Subcellular localization analysis has revealed that the ALMT localized in Plasma mem-hranP.
