Analysis of Giemsa C-banded Patterns of Chromosomes in Amphidiploid from Ae. tauschii and Secale cereale L

Abstract

Abstract: Studies on the artificially synthesized allopolyploids from Aegilops tauschii and Secale cereale L.by using the C-banding technique showed that the amphidiploid included the D and R genomes of its both parents.The chromosome C-banded patterns of the amphidiploid were almost the same to those of its parents.
