Abstract: Generation mean analysis was used in eight agronomic characters associated with P1,P2,F1,F2 and B1,B2 from two feeding maize hybrid combination. The results showed that difference was significant in the six generations above. The genetic contribution rate of additive effect was more than 60%.These characters can be selected directly. For dominant effect and epistatic effect, the difference was also significant. Their heritability was more than 10%. Non-additive effect differed with different traits and materials.
