Abstract: Studies were conducted on peanut shells substrates which added with urea,compound-fertilizer and chicken-manure when fermented and the effect on growth of tomato seedlings. The results indicate that the fermented peanut shells substrates have suitable physic-chemical properties and can planted high quality tomato seedlings, They can substitute peat for factory-seedlings.The best fermenting formulation were :treatment A_1 (25 kg peanut shells added urea85 g),B_3(25 kg peanut shells added compound-fertilizer 359 g),C_3(25 kg peanut shells added chicken-manure (2 393 g).)
