Abstract: The culture medium is the principal factor controlling the induction and development of tomato leaf explants, several culture media which contain different kinds and levels of hormones give rise to influence on the differentiation of tomato explants.MS medium with BA and IAA induces the leaf and shoot primordia;with KT and NAA induces root primordia;with BA and NAA induces full grown calli. In addition, the differential ability of leaf explants among 13 tomato genotypes have been compared.

Key words: Tomato (Lycopersicon esoulentum), Explant, Callus
