Abstract: The influence of waterlogging stress on physiological and biochemical characteristics in flue-cured tobacco at different growth stages were studied with cultivar K326 under pot experiment. The results showed that:under waterlogging stress, the photosynthetic pigment content of the flue-cured tobacco leaves were deccreased, the contents of malondialdehyde(MDA)and free proline(Pro)and the activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD)were increased, the activity of root were decreased.Meanwhile, effects of waterlogging stress on tobacco in rosette stage and vigorous growing stage were the greatest.
