Abstract: Trials were carried out by spraying the different concentrations of triadimefon onto the leaves of tobacco plants with three full developed leaves. At the 3rd and 5th days after spray treatments, the 1st full developed leaves from the top of the plants were collected to analyse the activites of defensive enzymes like peroxidase(POD),super oxidase dimutase(SOD),phenylalanin ammo-nialyase(PAL)and POD isoenzymic zymogram. The results showed that the activities of these defensive enzymes have increased, the activity of POD isoenzymic zymogram improved as well. This indicated that triadimefon can induce systemic acquiried resistance(SAR)of tobacco plants.
