Effect of Olaquindox on Inducing Apoptosis of Testicle Spermatogenic Cell in Mouse

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the mice fed different dosages olaquindox according to method of toxicology, effect of this med- icated premix on apoptosis of spermatogenic cell was detected using method of end mark in situ. The results showed thatthere was a rising in index of spermatogenic cell apoptosis from all experimental groups compared with normal group andnegative control group, and a significant difference from high dosages(p< 0. 05 or p< 0. 01)in different time, at the sametime, there was an obvious correlation between dosage and effect of olaquindox at 8 d and 12 d. These results indicatedthat olaquindox could induce apoptosis of testicle spermatogenic cell in mouse.
