Fuzzy Clustering Analysis for the Diversity of Radiosensitivity of Triticum aestivum L.

Abstract: By means of fuzzy clustering method,the diversity of radiosensitivity of wheat(Triticum aestivum L.) was analyzed with a sample population of 49 varieties.The result showed that the radiosensitivity of T.aestivum L.manifests significant difference among varieties.If the selected step of λ level is enough short,the radiosensitivity of all varieties within the sample population is different from one to another,which reflects the diversity of the radiosensitivity of T.aestivum L.Considering the application of radiosensitivity of wheat varieties in the practice of radiation induction breeding,the author has,according to their responses to radiation,classified the varieties into five groups that are named as higher resistant,resistant,intermediate,sensitive and higher sensitive,respectively.
