A Study on Tissue Culture for Micro propagation of Samstha-A Cut Rose Variety

Abstract: A vegetative propagation and sufficient cultural system was successfully built up by using samstha,a cut rose variety,as explant.The rate of induced bud was above 80% on two mediums (MS+BA2mg/L and MS+BA2mg/L+IBA0.1mg/L)and the rate of induced root was also above 80% on mediums(1/2MS+IAA1mg/L,1/2MS+IBA0.5mg/L and 1/2MS+NAA0.5mg/L).The survival rate of in vitro shooting was above 95% after planting.
