Evaluation oii the Safety of Pendimethalin to Direct-seeding Tuber Onion (Allium tuberosum Rtoler)and Its Weed Control Eff iciency

Abstract

Abstract: This paper points out that the use of Pendimethalin in the direct-seeding Tuber Onion(Flliurn tuberosurn Rothaler) field can produce a more that 90%efficiency to control weed and the residual effect can last 45-50 days. Safety levels to direct-seeding tuber onion, as determined by the phytotoxic test, the sensitivity test and the selection index are identical and indicate that 1'endimethalin is a safe and effective herbicide.
