Abstract: Water and fertilizer coupling has great effect on the quality of flue-cured tobacco,so it has great importance practical significance to study the effect of water and fertilizer coupling on chromoplast pigment and its degraded products in flue-cured tobacco leaf between the different of irrigates quantity and nitrogen phosphorus potassium proportion.Field experiment was carried out to study chromoplast pigment and its degraded products content under the different water-fertilizer conditions. The highest content of carotenoids and chromoplast pigment degraded products was T8 which was provided with enough water and the nitrogen phosphorus potassium proportion by 1∶2∶3,limited water and the nitrogen phosphorus potassium proportion by 1∶2∶3(T5)took second place.chlorophyll b and the total chlorophyll of T5 was the lowest; The chlorophyll, chlorophyll degradation products and carotenoids of T8 were all higher than T5,but the degradation product of carotenoids is lower than T5.The optimum combinations of water and fertilizer coupling:enough water;N,P and K were 60,120 and 180 kg/ha respectively, chlorophylls and their degradation products of which were 34.89 μg/g and 2 702 μg/g respectively, carotenoids and their degradation products of which were 384.1 μg/g and 73.83 μg/g respectively.
