Abstract: Objectives of this paper are to elucidate the effect of different fertilization treatments on the contents and changes of trace elements in acquic brown soil .The effect was studied by a consecutive 18 years field trial on aquic brown soil in Shenyang suburb of Northeast China .The contents of trace elements in this areawere lower than that of the national average, and there is no risk of pollution on soil under those fertilizations .Changes of contents of measured elements except Fe in soil between fertilization treatments and the control were significant, and there were no significant difference between the fertilizer treatment and the nutrient cycling treatment in those changes .All the measured elements except Zn declined during the trial under the control treatment ,while all the measured elements except Cu increased under fertilization treatments .The content of Cu in the soil with continuous maize stubble was higher than that in the soil with soybean stubble. The contents of trace elements under different fertilization treatments in the lower reach of Liaohe Plain were lower than the environment quantity standard for soils,so those fertilization treatments can not make damage to the soil for a long time ;And there are some differences in the changes of trace elements among treatments ,while nutrients cycling can improve the inputs of trace elements in agroecosystem and has an important effect on the sustainable of agriculture .
