Abstract: Peashrub,in common name of Caragana Fabr, there is about 66 species of peashrub were recorded inChina, which are mainly distributed in arid and semi-arid areas of North China. All species of peashrub developed typicalbiological features, which are highly drought-tolerant and good shrubs for dun}fixation, animal feeding, and biological re-sources for fuel energy and fiber material. They are valuable plants for the ecolocal restoration of North China. It is veryimportant to analyze the genetic diversity of peashrub for protecting and utilizing them. In this paper, the genetic diversi-ties of 30 peashrubs form different places in North China were analyzed by RAPD markers. Among 87 RAPD bands ob-twined form 15 primes,74 bands were polymoiphic which occupied 84. 1%of the total. Cluster analysis showed that thetested materials of 30 peashrubs could be divided into 4 groups:population of C. intermedia;population of C. microphyl-la; population of C. korhinskii I am and population of C. purdomi, the relationships among population of C. intermedi-a,population of C. mdcroplla and population of C. korshdnskdd Item are nearer than population of C. purdomd,it alsoshowed that their relationships are ralated with the geographin
