Abstract: Through soil incubation experiment in greenhouse, the nitrogen uptake in 3 hybrids cut-flower lily(i.e Asiatic hybrids Var.Prato,Longiflorum hybrids Var.Snow Queen,Oriental hybrids Var.Siberia) was investigated under fertilization and CK conditions. The results showed that whether fertilizer was applied or not,the plant mainly used the materials stored in the bulb before 47 d for 3 hybrids at the different procreation stages. After 47 d,the biomass of Oriental hybrids and Longiflorum hybrids was increased in bulb,it was decreased in leaf and stem, and the total biomass of cut-lily was increased. The biomass of Asiatic hybrids did not changed too much in bulb after 47 d,it was increased in leaf and stem, and the total biomass of cut-lily was increased.Fertilization did not markedly influence the biomass accumulation of whole plant and the market quality of cut-flower for 3 hybrids. However, some quality characters such as flower diameter of Oriental hybrids, leaf colour of Longiflorum hybrids and flower bud number per plant of Asiatic hybrids were evidently improved and the biomass of some organs such as leaf and root of Oriental hybrids and leaf of Longiflorum hybrids were significantly increased at harvest.
