Abstract

Abstract: Marguerite(Tagetes erecta L.)is one of the 3 famous worldwide herbace ous flowers.The continuous cross among sister individuals and the individual selection were carried out,and the male sterile line was formed.6marguerite selfing lines were selected as fsther parent(♂) from 46 selfing lines,that include 4 yellow flower series(BLY001、BLY002、BLY003、BLY006)and 2 orange flower series(BLD001、BLD003).2 Tageles patula double-color(yellow-red)lines(PBH026、PBHO029)were selected.Breeder's stocks were produced with the selected selfing lines and the sterile lines.The hybrid F₁ show advantages on many characters,such as dwarf and compact in plant morphology.more and bigger flowers.Longer flowering periods.beautiful and pure flower colors,green leaf,healfhy and strong resistance.
