Abstract: Based on the generation of monoclonal antibody against Chloramphenicol(CAP mAb),the rapid test strip of CAP(CAP-Strip)was developed with colloidal gold immunochromatography assay(GICA)and its traits were tested. The result showed that the calibration curve of CAP-Strip was typical sigmoid curve which fitted the four parameter logistic, with a eyeballing detection limit of 0.5 μg/L.It generally had 160% cross-reactivity towards CAP succinate sodium, and little or no cross-reactivity with other amphenicols and antibacterials. Its sensitivity was the same as that of competitive ELISA-Kit,with a coincidence rate of 100%.The strip could give the test results in less than 10min and possessed good sensitivity, specificity and briefness, which was proved to be suitable for the rapid test of CAP residues in animal food.
