Abstract: In order to find the new way to promote the fermentation efficiency of crop straws, the influences of outer protease on soil fertility and the effects on growth of wheat were investigated by pot culture experiment. When the wheat were reaped, compared with the control, the contents of soil available N,available P,available K and contents of soil organic matter were increased 0.74-1.74mg/kg,0.53-1.33mg/kg,3.90-6.57mg/kg,0.07-0.13 g/kg.Compared with control, wheat height, dry weight, chlorophyll contents and root activity were all increased, grain yield were increased 19.84%~34.11%.Outer protease could improve soil fertility and promote the growth of wheat.
