Statistics and Analysis on Articles and Quotations of Acta Agriculturae Boreali-sinica from 2001 to 2004

Abstract

Abstract: For the evaluation of the academic level and quality of the articles on Acta Agriculturae Boreali-sinica,a statistic analysis was done on the information about published articles,cited articles and authors,taking 480 articles published on it from 2001 to 2004 as samples.The results showed that 480 articles were published in the 4 years,of which 338 papers supported by Natural Sciences Fund,accounting for 70.25%;while the total quoted articles were 3938,that is 8.2 for each published paper;Of the total quoted articles,34.56% were written in foreign languages and 81.19% were academic papers.The ideas of improvement for Acta Agriculturae Boreali-sinica are proposed according to the statistics.
