Abstract: The attached and detached leaves of the wheat were treated with ABA(0.1 mmol/L),Zeatin(0.1 mmol/L) and their mixture (Zeatin+ABA=0.1 mmol/L+0.2 mmol/L),respectively.The results demonstrated that ABA prompted the degradation of chlorophyll and seduced the rates of photosynthetic oxygen evolution, the activities of RuBPcase and carbonic anhydrase, the capacities of electron transport of PSⅠ and PSⅡ in wheat leaves. The effects of zeatin were contrary to that of the ABA,and their mixture showed an antagonism of zeatin against ABA.The effects of hormones on photosynthetic characteristics in varying degrees could be one of the causes of the decline in photosynthetic function in plant.
