Effects of Different VA Mycorrhizal Fungi on the Growth of Potatoes

Abstract: The effects of three types of VA mycorrhizal fungi on the growth of potatoes in pot cultures was studied in this paper.The results showed that three types of vesicular arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi were able to infect root hairs of potato plant in sterilized soil,but infect rates were different,among of them, Glomus mossea was able to distinctly increase the plant height,fresh weight,dry weight,number of corms,and promote the absorption rates of nitrogen and phosphorus.
