Studies of Fertility and Utility of Long Effect NH4HCO3to Main Crops of Dry land Farming

Abstract

Abstract: Long effect NH₄HCO₃ was applicated to the main dry land crops i .e.wheat and potato.With normal management,the utility is 0.8 to 9.1 points higher than that of the comm on NH₄HCO₃.The effective period is double.So the shortage of Nin the late stages of growing season has been com pensated.Dressing same quantity of N,the fertility of long effect NH₄HCO₃ is much higher than that of urea.Its fertility and utility is even higher than urea when applicated to potato.
