Abstract: The humus combined forms of lousoil and yellow loamy soilunder long-term application of chemical and organic fertilize rswere systemly studied through four fertilizer experiments. The results showed that long-term application of organicm anure or that combined with chemical fertilizer could in crease the contents of loosely combined humus, stably combined humus and tightly combined humus, and the ratio of loosely com b ined hum us to tight lycom bined humus was increased. Under the condiation flong-term application of chemicalfer tilizer, the tigh tly combined humus was increased and the ratio of loosely combined humus totightly combined humus was decreased.By means of path co efficient analysis and step reg ression analysis, it indicated that the loosely combined humus was closely related to soil hydrolytic N and available P, the stab lycom b ined hum us was closely related to soilav ailable P and CaCO3, and the tightly combined humus was closely related to hydrolytic N and to ta lN .
