    Canopy apparent photosynthetic rate(CAP) and grain quality of glutinous rice were studied in the field experiments.The results indicated that the changes of CAP is unimodal curve during growth stages,and were different with rice varieties,the maximum rate appears at heading stage.There were significant or highly negative correlation and significant positive correlation between the CAP of heading days and 26 days after heading and milled rice percentage of rice.

    Grain grouting character was studied on eight high grain yield wheat cultivars which popularized in Guanzhong area belong to early,medium and late-maturing.The result showed that:the high grain yield of early-maturing wheat cultivars take much use of nourishment prefloral storage and usage of photoassimilates correspond during grain grouting period,grouting peak is late and the peak value is high,after peak,grouting rate drop quicker than medium-late maturing cultivars,but grouting rate is high remarkably than medium-late maturing cultivars,till about 35 days postfloral.

    Two cucumber cultivars Beijingjietou and Changchunmici that showed significant difference at low temperature germination were used to study the effects of low temperature on the hydrolases activities,including proteases and lipases,during seed germination.The results indicated that the ability to germinate under low temperature in cucumber were related to both the hydrolases activities and the appearance of the peaks,and the hydrolases activities played major role.During germination under low temperature,the sudden increases of both of the activities of protease and lipase in Changchunmici were observed,which indicated that new protease and lipase might be induced by low temperature,so the ability to germination under low temperature in Changchunmici was higher than that of Beijingjietou.Both of the activities of lipases of two cultivars were inhibited at the early stage of low temperature treatment,but not in proteases,which suggested that the lipase was more sensitive to low temperature than protease.

    In early growth period,the content of chlorophyll and the photosynthesis rate were higher in leaves treated at the pHvalue between 6.5 and 7.5,then reached maximum at the vigorous growth stage.In early growth period,soil pHhad negative correlation with the activity of POD declined when the pHvalue was up from 4.5 to 8.5;but the activity of SOD and CAD as well as the content of MDA increased with the rising of pHvalue.At mature stage,with the rising of soilpH,the activity of CAT and POD declined while the activity of SOD increased;the content of MDA had an increasing tendency while the pHvalue was up from 4.5 to 6.5 and declining tendency while the pHvalue was up from 7.5 to 8.5 and it reached its minimum value on soil pH8.5.At mature stage the photosynthesis rate were higher in leaves at various pHvalue.

    In 2004,the effects of fertilizer concentration on growth and physiological characteristics of flue-cured tobacco seedlings in the floating system were studied with K326 coated seeds.The treatments (calculated by nitrogen concentration) were:0(no fertilizer),50,75,100,125,150,175and 200mg/L.The fertilizer contains many kinds of microelements,provided by Ye-xian county floating system materials factory.The fertilizer ratio was 20-10-20(N-P2O5-K2O).The results showed that at 30 and 35 days after seedling,with the increasing of nutrient solution concentration,stem length,number of leaves,plant dry weight and the number of first-order and second-order lateral roots of seedlings increased;at 45 and 50 days after seedling,Fertilizer within 100-150mg/L could make a better growth of tobacco seedlings.At 46 days,NR activities decreased with the increasing of nutrient solution concentration,except which,NR activities and the contents of water-soluble protein in the whole period increased with the increasing of fertilizer levels within 0-125mg/L,then decreased over 125mg/L.INV activities decreased from 0-150mg/L,then increased over 150mg/L during the whole seedling period.

    With different seed-types of peanuts,some physiological traits and yield properties were researched in the course of senescence.The results showed that NR and PAL activities in leaves presented a descending trend in later stage,but the descent speeds for bigger seed types were slower than that of smaller types.The changes of AsA-POD activity decreased on a parabola trend for the bigger types:Y=-0.0492X~2+5.5791X-146.82;and on a linear trend for the smaller ones:Y=-0.553X+39.302.The MDA content ascend quickly during 60-65 days after anthesis for both types.Compared with the smaller species,the MDA content of bigger ones were reduced by 44.9% in mature stage.Finally the 100 seed weight and 100 nut weight were increased by 46.8% and 61.4% respectively.The yield were increased by 33.2%.

    For the sake of disclosure of population genetic construction of Lindian chicken and Dagu chicken breeds from molecular level,genetic diversity of Lindian chicken and Dagu chicken was assayed on the basis of 5 microsatellite DNA markers from the chicken gene bank,as well as,the phylogenitic status of Lindian chicken and Dagu chicken was discussed among several native chicken breeds.The results showed,altogether,38 alleles were detected in 5 microsatellite loci,and among them,the least alleles(5) were detected by ADL0146,and the most alleles(9) were detected by ADL0136 and ADL0185.The average alleles number was 7.6 from 5 microsatellite loci.Genetic diversity in Lindian chicken was more abundant than that of Dagu chicken.The cluster analysis indicated that the consanguinity was close relatively among Lindian chicken,Dagu chicken,Bian chicken,Rizhao Pockmarked chicken and Shouguang chicken breeds;however,the consanguinity was far relatively between Lindian chicken,Dagu chicken and Luxi fighting chicken breeds.As a while,the clustering diagram reflected well the evolutionary and breeding history of the 7 chicken breeds.

    The seed coat color and the produce sweetened bean paste rate are the importance features to determine the character of commodity of adzuki beans.In this paper,335 shares of adzuki beans germplasm resources from major production areas in China,25 shares of Japan's and 2 shares of Korea's were selected at random,and its seed coat color and the produce sweetened bean paste rate were appraised.The results indicated that the mean of degree of red value(a*) was 19.71,it's gray somewhat,and the range was 13.0-26.0.The mean of degree of yellow value(b*) was 9.58,and the range was 5.2-16.8;The mean of degree of brightness value(L*) was 26.47,and the range was 18.1-34.0;The mean of produce sweetened bean paste rate was 68.08%,and the range was 61.90%-75.98%;There were obvious differences between areas.Each of the 4 characters of a*,b*,L* and the produce sweetened bean paste rate was of higher genetic variation.The generalized habitability values h2 of a*,b* and L* of seed color were high but the generalized habitability of produce sweetened bean paste rate was comparatively low.The germplasm resources of 6 shares of degree of red value exceeding 24.0,16 shares of degree of brightness value exceeding 30.0,8 shares of degree of yellow value exceeding 13.0 and 8 shares of produce sweetened bean paste rate exceeding 73.5% were obtained by selection.

    Studies on factors for enhancing theembryogenic rates in isolated microspore culture of chinese cabbages were carried out.The results showed that 21 varieties had produced microspore-derived embryos among 24 varieties of chinese cabbage cultured in NLN-13 liquid medium.The production of microspore-derived embryos varied remarkably among these varieties.Embryo yield per bud is from 0.1 to 14.66.Sucrose and hormone concentrations in NLN medium were compared.NLN with 13% sucrose is better in production of microspore-derived embryos.Average embryo yield is higher in 33℃ high temperature treatment from 24 to 48 hour.The B5 medium with 6-BA 0.2mg/L,3%Sucrose and 1% agar is good for microspore-derived embryo to regenerated plants.

    Sowing-date experiment of corn variety Zhengdan 21 at Anyang City,the influence of different ecological conditions on growth and yield was studied.The yield,ear row number,and row grain number dropped,the maximum leaf area index and dry matter accumulation declined,the growing process quickened,along with the postponement of summer sowing,The ecological adaptability for high yield of Zhengdan 21 was that whole growing accumulated temperature was 2 596.2-2 764.5℃and whole growing daily mean temperature was 23.2-24.0℃,whole growing accumulated sunshine hour was 514.9-603.2h and whole growing daily mean sunshine hour was 4.6-5.3h.

    Seven kinds of sorghum(Sorghum bicolor L.Moench) cytoplasmic-male sterility(CMS) have been identified by far,i.e.A1,A2,A3,A4,A5,A6 and 9E.The mechanic studies ofcMS was mainly centered on A1(milo).A2/B2V4 was used in our program to study the chromosomal meiotic behaviors during pollen mother cell development in A2cMS.The results demonstrated that the abnormal chromosomal behaviors occurred in A2cMS meiosis starting from anaPHASeⅠ;Homologous chromosomes delayed to move to opposite poles at anaPHASeⅠ or sister chromosomes didn't divide at anaPHASeⅡ;Chromosomes multipolidized;Unequal chromosomal separation;Several nuclei or nucleoli in one cell;etc.All of the abnormal behaviors lead to the failed microspores development.

    To optimize the technological system for goat embryo production in vitro,capacitation and fert ilization of goat spermatozoa were compared after treated with different capacited inducersAfter treated with different dosage of heparin,Calcium ionophore A23187 (IA) and estrus goat serum (EGS),the motility,capacitated percentage,longevity and fertilizing ability of goat spermatozoa were assessedThe results showed that when spermatozoa was capacited with 5,10,20μg/mL heparin,capacitated percentages and longevities were 55.6% and 18-19 h in 10μg/mL group.There were lower proportion of capacitation in 5μg/mL group and lower motility and shorter longevity in 20μg/mL group,com pared with 10 g/mL group When spermatozoa treated with 01,04,07 mol/L IA,the highest capacitated percent ages of 53.8% and 56.2% were appeared in 0.4 and 0.7μmol/L groups,respectively.However,motilities and longevities in both groups showed signif icant differences.Capacitated percentages were less than 20% when spermatozoa were treated with 5%,10% and 20% EGS,although motilit ies and longevities were promoted in these groups.The lowest rates of fertilization and cleavagewas appeared in 10% EGS group (27.9% and 18.6%).Rate of fertilization in 0.4μmol/L IA group was similar to 10μg/mL heparin group ( 70.7% and 68.2%),but cleavage rate of the former was signif icantly higher than that of the latter ( 52.0% VS 40.2%; P< 0.05) Higher Capacitated percentages and fertilized abilities of goat spermatozoa are appeared after treated with 10 g/mL heparin and 0.4 mol/L IA,and IA promote cleavage rate after fertilization.

    A generic hybridization between Yuan FH 2-1,derived from upland rice(O.sativa)genotype Handao 65/Barnyard grass(E.caudata),and sorghum(S.bicolor) genotype Shennong 133,has been made in which parents all belonged to non-waxy endosperm(NWE) genotypes.A new character of waxy endosperm(WE) was appeared in its progenies of F2,340 WE and 1 372 NWE plants were recorded from a population of total 1712 ones.Inheritance pattern analysis of it indicated the trait was governed by 1 pair of dominant genes inhibiting effect,which was in full accordance with the segregated ratio of 13:3 by ways of χ2 tests.This was obviously different with previous reports WE were governed by 1 pair of recessive genes.

    By analysis the change of nitrate-nitrogen's contents in different soil layers during corn season and the change of the water content in the soil,we studied the leaching of nitrate-nitrogen during corn season.The results showed there had nitrate-nitrogen leaching during the corn season in Piedmont of Mountain Taihang.The nitrate-nitrogen move downward into the deep layers along with the water's percolation,and the leaching of nitratenitrogen were 2kg/ha in 200kg/ha treatment,16kg/ha in 400kg/ha treatment,50kg/ha in 800kg/ha treatment.The first and second irrigations had the most important role in the redistribution of nitrate-nitrogen,they made the nitrate accumulated in the 40-160cM soil layer.

    In order to find the new way to promote the fermentation efficiency of crop straws,the influences of outer protease on soil fertility and the effects on growth of wheat were investigated by pot culture experiment.When the wheat were reaped,compared with the control,the contents of soil available N,available P,available K and contents of soil organic matter were increased 0.74-1.74mg/kg,0.53-1.33mg/kg,3.90-6.57mg/kg,0.07-0.13 g/kg.Compared with control,wheat height,dry weight,chlorophyll contents and root activity were all increased,grain yield were increased 19.84%~34.11%.Outer protease could improve soil fertility and promote the growth of wheat.

    Effect of different fertilizer level on head yield and quality in exporting broccoli was studied.The results showed that organic fertilizer significantly increased broccoli yield as well as quality compared to the chemical fertilizer.The greatest yield was obtained under the treatment of organic-chemical compound fertilizer,values of these yields followed by the treatment of refined organic fertilizer and humic-chemical mixed fertilizer.The obvious evidence was observed that applied only chemical nitrogen fertilizer had no influence on the yield and quality,even worse than ck.Organic-chemical compound fertilizer and refined organic fertilizer improved head yield,chlorophyll content,soluble sugars content,Vc content and PAL activity,and decreased SOD activity.There were negative relationships between N fertilizer and Vc content;SOD activity,chlorophyll content and N fertilizer are positively correlated.There were obviously additive effects between N and B fertilizer.

    A pot experiment was carried out to investigate the effect of compound fertilizers with different nitrogen forms on maize seedling growth in different soils.The results showed as follows:Maize grown in the treatment of compound fertilizer containing urea alone had significantly lower germination rate than the maize receiving mixed CO(NH2-N/NH4+-N or mixed NO3--N/NH4+-N in compound fertilizers in Udic Isohumisols.However,there was no significant affect of nitrogen forms on maize germination rate in Udic Cambosols.Nitrogen forms in compound fertilizer affected biomass accumulation of maize too,and the highest dry weight of shoot and root was found in the plants supplied with compound fertilizer containing 100% urea nitrogen in Udic Isohumisols,and mixed nitrate and ammonium in Udic Cambosols.It was shown that enhancement of NO3--N/NH4+-N in compound fertilizer could increase nitrogen accumulation and nitrogen use efficiency of maize in both of the soils.

    The effect of different technological measures on the utilization of precipitation was studied in dryland in the west of Henan Province in this article.The results showed it played an active role in development and growth,yield,soil moisture and precipitation utilization of corn by different technological measures.The yield of corn were improved 1.92% to 20.51%,the best ones were the treatments of straw mulch and nutrient water-retaining agent combination,which increased 15.38% to 20.51%,the second ones were the treatments of nutrient water-retaining agent,that augmented 11.53% to 14.10%.The efficiency of precipitation ut ilization was improved 0.45kg/ ( mm·ha) to 3.60kg/ ( mm·ha) respectively; the best ones were also the treatments of straw mulch and nutrient water-retaining agent combination,which augmented 2.70kg/ ( mm·ha) to 3.60kg/ ( mm·ha).All of that tested the comprehensive technology is the affective way to improve precipitation ut ilization.The effect of nutrient water-retaining agent treatments was the best ones among of the treatments of water-saving agents.At the same time,the content of nitrate,available phosphorous and potassium,and organic matter of soil under reasonable straw mulch covering and cultivation,otherwise it would be decreased the content of available potassium and organic matter.

    We report an efficient transformation protocol for stable introduction of PAP gene into callus of lily leaf.Calli of Lilium longiflorum leaf were inoculated with Agrobacterium tumefaciens strain LBA4404 containing the binary vector PBI121-1 harboring pokeweed antiviral protein gene,which was isolated from pokeweed leaves.In the selection of antibiotics,the calli of lily were inoculated with Agrobacterium containing PBI121-1 produced small amount of callus on 75mg/L kanamycin and 250mg/L cefotasimine selection plates.Plants were regenerated from resistant calli gained from the slectable medium with MS.An optimum protocol of transformation has been established and 49 regenerative plants from transformations have been obtained.The PAP cDNA integrated into the calli of lily was assayed by PCR,The PCR analyses demonstrated stable integration of PAP gene into the Lilium longiflorum genomes.Expression of the genes was particularly eminent in leaf tissue of primary transformant plants.The establishment of an efficient transformation method may facilitate the improvement of lily in terms of the levels of antiviral protein.

    The phenolics content and some related oxidase activities were determined between healthy and browning spot fruits with bagging in Huangguan pears,the results indicated that there were higher phenolics content and activities of POD and PPO,but not significant difference on SOD activity of peel and flesh in serious peel browning fruits than those in healthy ones,and meanwhile,the content of phenolics and activities of POD,PPO and SOD were higher in browning spot zone than those healthy one.After the application of spraying to the fruit surface with 1% CaCl2,0.1 mmol/L CPZ,0.1 mmol/L TFP,0.5 mmol/L SO and 0.05 mmol/L EB,the content of phenolics was not obviously affected by all treatments,but the peel browning spot was stimulated only by EB,and more,the PPO activity was decreased by CaCl2,but increased by SO,EB and TFP,as well as was slightly influenced by CPZ.These showed that the occurrence of peel browning was closely related to the marked rise of PPO activity,and Ca2+-CaM system and Ca2+-ATPase might be involved in this browning process.

    Action mechanism of antagonistic BS-208 on tomato grey mould was studied.The activity changes of PAL,SOD,POD,PPO and content of MDA were tested by inoculating Botrytis cinerea and antagonistic BS-208 on tomato plants.The results showed that the activity of PAL,POD and PPO increased after inoculating strain BS-208 fermentation liquid.Among them,maximum activity of PAL and POD reached at 48 hours after the treatment were both 0.72(U),whereas,maximum activity of PPO reached at 96 hours after the treatment was 4.5(U).This increased resistance of tomato to pathogen.Moreover,the content of MDA were not significantly changed after treatment with BS-208,it indicated that tomato plants were not damaged by BS-208

    The cell compositions of 2 forage species and 8 cultivars at different harvest time were measured by enzyme catabolization method,the results showed that there were no significant difference of digestibility among the tested cultivars of Lolium multiflorum L.but there was a significant difference of digestibility between the cultivar Magnet with highmg and the cultivar Tachiwase.There was also a significant difference of digestibility between the cultivar Himag of Festuca arundinacea Schreb.With highmg and the other 3 given cultivars.There was no significant difference of digestibility among the 3 cultivars.There was a highest digestibility for the two forage species harvesting in October.There was a lowest digestibility for Lolium multiflorum harvesting in July,however for Festuca arundinacea harvesting in September.

    In Inner Mongolia steppe,the paper studied the properties of soil chemical elements from severalmain plant populations,the results indicated that soil pHand total nitrogen content of Leymus chinensis population is the highest among different plant populations,and then Potentilla acaulis population,Caragana microphylla population is the lowest.Except between Artemisia frigida and Kochia prostrata populations,there are significant differences(P<0.05)between other plant populations.Soil inorganic nitrogen content of Leymus chinensis population is the highest,and then Artemisia frigida,Caragana microphylla,Kochia prostrata and Potentilla acaulis populations respectively.Soil inorganic nitrogen content has significant differences(P<0.05)between all the different plant population populations.Soil microbial biomass nitrogen of Caragana microphylla population is the highest,and then Leymus chinensis,Artemisia frigida,Kochia prostrata and Potentilla acaulis populations respectively.Soil microbial biomass nitrogen has significant differences(P<0.05)between all the different plant populations.Soil net N mineralization rate of Leymus chinensis population is the highest of different plant populations,and then Artemisia frigida,Potentilla acaulis,Kochia prostrata and Caragana microphylla populations respectively,and there are significant differences(P<0.05)between all the different plant populations.There are significant(P<0.05)positive correlativity between soil net N mineralization rate and soil pHand temperature,and significant(P<0.05)negative correlativity between soil net N mineralization rate and soil C:N.Soil organic carbon content of Caragana microphylla population is the highest,and then Leymus chinensis population,and Potentilla acaulis population is the lowest.Except between Artemisia frigida and Kochia prostrata populations,there are significant differences(P<0.05)between other plant populations.

    The milk-clotting properties of kid rennet were investigated in the paper.The results showed that the optimum clotting temperature of kid rennet was 50℃.The milk-clotting activity of rennet was stable at less than 40℃,after 10 min treatment at 60℃,it would completely lose.The milk-clotting activity decreased with the increase of milk pHvalue between 5.5 and 7.5,at pH7.5 it almost losed completely.Treating kid rennet for 20 hours at the pHin the range of 2.0~7.0,the clotting activity maintained stable.Al3+,Ca2+and Na+ had obvious functions to accelerate milk coagulation.K+,Mg2+,Mn2+and Fe3+had no obvious functions to accelerate or inhibit milk coagulation.But Cu2+ and Zn2+ could keep milk from coagulating.The influence of milk concentration on enzymatic activity was also studied,obtaining the Km of kid rennet was 1.893g/L.

    In order to study the flower bud differentiation of seedlings of peach,the twoyear-old seedlings of Prunus persica cv.Okubo were treated by some pieces of plant hormones by spraying or immersing buds on flower bud stage,the results showed that these treatments,KT30 spraying at 1mg/kg two times,PP333 immersing buds at 1000(mg/kg) two times,PP333 spraying at 2000mg/kg one time,PP333 immersing buds at 2000mg/kg two times,Eth spraying at(500mg/kg) two times,Eth immersing buds at 1000mg/kg one time,S3307 spraying at 125mg/kg two times,S3307 spraying at 250mg/kg two times have a significantly efficiency in declining the nodes of the earliest blooming buds,and these treatments,KT30 spraying at 1mg/kg two times,PP333 immersing buds at 1000mg/kg two times,PP333 spraying at 2 000mg/kg one time,Eth immersing buds at 1000mg/kg two times,S3307 immersing buds at 125mg/kg one time have remarkable efficiency on Flowering induction in second degree branches.
