Abstract: In 2004,the effects of fertilizer concentration on growth and physiological characteristics of flue-cured tobacco seedlings in the floating system were studied with K326 coated seeds.The treatments (calculated by nitrogen concentration) were:0(no fertilizer),50,75,100,125,150,175and 200mg/L.The fertilizer contains many kinds of microelements,provided by Ye-xian county floating system materials factory.The fertilizer ratio was 20-10-20(N-P₂O₅-K₂O).The results showed that at 30 and 35 days after seedling,with the increasing of nutrient solution concentration,stem length,number of leaves,plant dry weight and the number of first-order and second-order lateral roots of seedlings increased;at 45 and 50 days after seedling,Fertilizer within 100-150mg/L could make a better growth of tobacco seedlings.At 46 days,NR activities decreased with the increasing of nutrient solution concentration,except which,NR activities and the contents of water-soluble protein in the whole period increased with the increasing of fertilizer levels within 0-125mg/L,then decreased over 125mg/L.INV activities decreased from 0-150mg/L,then increased over 150mg/L during the whole seedling period.
