Abstract: Action mechanism of antagonistic BS-208 on tomato grey mould was studied. The activity changes of PAL,SOD,POD,PPO and content of MDA were tested by inoculating Botrytis cinerea and antagonistic BS-208 on tomato plants. The results showed that the activity of PAL,POD and PPO increased after inoculating strain BS-208 fermentation liquid.Among them, maximum activity of PAL and POD reached at 48 hours after the treatment were both 0.72(U),whereas,maximum activity of PPO reached at 96 hours after the treatment was 4.5(U).This increased resistance of tomato to pathogen. Moreover, the content of MDA were not significantly changed after treatment with BS-208,it indicated that tomato plants were not damaged by BS-208
