Abstract: The identification of salt tolerant genetic loci in peanut can provide basis for the molecular mechanism of salt tolerance, and gene sources for improving salt tolerant cultivars. Based on a high-dense genetic map being constructed by using a RIL population derived from the cross between Huayu 28 and P76,we performed QTL analysis for vegetative traits of peanut under salt stress by software IciMapping. As a result,13 QTLs related to absolute value of traits on salt stress on ten linkage groups were detected. 3,2,6 and 2 of 13 QTLs controlled absolute value of plant height, root length, shoot fresh weight and root weight, respectively. 6 QTLs related to relative value of traits on salt stress on five linkage groups were detected. 3,2 and 1 of 6 QTLs controlled relative value of plant height, root length and shoot fresh weight, respectively. 4 QTLs detected in B02 were linked to Marker774175,which were qSmsh-HP-B02.1, qSwfp-HP-B02.1, qRmsh-HP-B02.1, qRwfp-HP-B02.1 related to absolute value and relative value of plant height and stem fresh weight on salt stress, respectively. Synergistic genes of the 4 QTLs derived from Huayu 28. The results provided important information for further exploration of salt tolerant QTL in peanut.
