Abstract: In order to clarify the characteristics of soil organic carbon storage, soil organic carbon contents, soil organic carbon storage and its relationship with carbon input were studied under different fertilizations by a 35-years' long-term fertilization experiment in the fluvo-aquic soil.It was discovered that soil organic carbon contents in all treatments showed an increasing trend in this experiment.Compared to CK,soil organic carbon contents in MN,MNP,and MNPK treatments were the largest increase and the increased ranged was 90.6%-100.8%.Soil organic carbon contents in M treatment was significantly higher than the chemical fertilizers treatments. After 35 years of experiment, soil organic carbon storage in the MN,MNP,and MNPK treatments were higher than the organic manure and chemical fertilizers treatments, and M treatment was significantly higher than the chemical fertilizers treatments. In addition, strongly positive linear correlation was observed between cumulative carbon input and variable organic carbon storage (R2=0.944 7, P <0.01),and the least cumulative carbon input for maintaining the initial organic carbon level was about 9.01 t/ha.The soil carbon sequestration efficiency was 18.2% when the cumulative carbon input was less than 83 t/ha,and the organic carbon storage was increased with the increasement of exogenous organic carbon input. The soil carbon sequestration efficiency was only 11.5% when the cumulative carbon input was greater than 83 t/ha,and the increasement of organic carbon storage was decreased significantly with the increasement of exogenous organic carbon input. The change of cumulative carbon input and organic carbon variation showed a trend of linear and platform.
