Preparation and Application of the Monoclonal Antibodies for VP1 Protein of Porcine Circovirus-like Virus P1

Abstract

Abstract: To select specific mAbs for VP1 protein of P1 virus, epitopes of it were predicted by bioinformatics software, and then mAbs against different epitopes were prepared by the method of SEAL^TM and applied to immunohistochemistry and Western Blot analysis, respectively, for screening sensitive and specific mAbs.Results showed that there were three positive mAbs(mAb1, mAb6 and mAb9) in immunohistochemical staining and one mAb(mAb1) showed strong hyacinthine in Western Blot.In a nutshell, specific mAbs were screened for VP1 protein of P1 virus, which will contribute to the detection of P1 and its vaccine development.
