Development of Fluorescent Quantitative PCR Assay for Porcine SIRT1 Gene

Abstract: SIRT1 gene plays an important regulatory role on cell survival,senescence,apoptosis.This study was to establish a Fluorescent quantitative PCR assay for porcine SIRT1 gene expression.According to the mRNA sequence of SIRT1,primers of porcine SIRT1 gene were designed,and a power SYBR Green Fluorescent quantitative PCR method based on SYBR Green I dye was developed.The results showed that the established Fluorescent quantitative PCR detection method was rapid,sensitive and specific,and so on.The result provided a useful methodological basis for investigating SIRT1 gene.
