Abstract: Recently, cultivated area of potato in greenhouse expanded. The secondary-salinization soil under greenhouse is accelerated and becomes the key factor influencing vegetable production. The effect of elevated CO2 on the nitrate metabolism and N accumulation of potato(Solanum tuberosum L.) was studied in order to relief secondary-salinization soil and reduce nitrate of tuber. So safety potato is provided and the use of greenhouse is prolonged. The paper based on utilization of carbon dioxide fertilizer and traditional manuring of nitrogen in greenhouse. It was concluded that the dry matter, nitrate content of plant and nitrogen accumulation of plant were higher than control group with the nitrogen application rate of 48 kg/ha and 96 kg/ha under elevated CO2 in 130 d after sowing. The dry matter, nitrate content of tuber and nitrogen accumulation of tuber decreased compared with control group when nitrogen application rate was 96,144 kg/ha under elevated CO2.
