Observation on Pathological Process of Chicken Oviduct Affected with M41 IBV Using EM

Abstract: The distribution and damaging offects of M41 IBV on the oviduct was observed by using SEM and TEM. The results showed that the damage of oviduct by M41 virus were mainly as followsp:the cilia of oviduct mucous membraneepithlial cells fell off, The oviduct epithelial cells nucleus shrink, mitochondria degradation and vacuolation. Rough endoplasmic reticulum swell. Golgi complex is inactive.
