Abstract: Three super high yield wheat cultivars :Luyuan301 ,Weimai8 and Shannong62G were used as materials tostudy quantum efficiency of PSII electron transport(ΥPSII), non -photochemical quenching(NPQ), activity of antioxidantenzymes and the content of active oxygen. The results showed that ΥPSII and activity of antioxidant enzymes of three superhigh yield wheat cultivars were higher than those of Lumai14 at late growth period. The content of O2and H2O2 and NPQof three super high yield wheat cultivars were lower than those of Lumai14.These results showed that photosynthetic apparatusof super high yield wheat cultivars was damaged more slightly and had higher ability to use light than that ofLumai14 ,which were in favor of high yield. The yield of Luyuan301 ,Weimai8 and Shannong62G were higher than that ofLumai14.
