The Change of Major Nutrient Components During the Growth and Development of Pumpkin Fruit

Abstract: The change of nutrition content of Miben pumpkin was studied in 10-50 d after flowering,including pumpkin-amylase,β-carotene,amino acid,Vitamin C,protein,gross sugar,reductive sugar,minerals etc.The result showed that the contents of pumpkin-amylase,β-carotene,amino acid,protein,gross sugar and reductive sugar increased,but the increase extent of each component was different.The content of Vitamin C decreased but it increased a little at the end of fruit development.The change of mineral content is complicated.There was a certain relationship between some nutrient components.
