Abstract: The physiologic and biochemical parameters of the soybean seeds and their agronomic characters were investigated after pretreatment with hermetically sealed and vacuumed storage for differential time under 30 ℃.The results are as follows:(1)The GP,BFW,and SEP of the soybean seeds were decreased;the seedling days, and flowering days were delayed;the strain height and weight of seed per plant were decreased;the seed leakage was increased;the activity of dehydrogenase was declined and the numbers of peroxidase isozyme patterns was decreased with prolongation of storage time.(2)The changes of all above parameters had three critical levels in the rapid declining phase. These findings suggest that from 73% to 86% of the GP in the soybean seeds should be taken as an important reference of regeneration threshold;and the seeds which viability declined to 73% must be regenerated.
