Abstract: In order to screen soybean lines with resistance to Soybean mosaic virus(SMV), a total of 1 108 recent bred soybean lines were evaluated through the incidence rate and disease index to SMV by inoculation with two SMV prevalent strains SC3 and SC7. The results showed that among the 1 108 varieties inoculated by SC3 and SC7, 356(32.13%)and 326(29.42%)exhibited high resistance, respectively. 252(22.75%)varieties were high resistance to both SC3 and SC7. The correlation analysis showed the incidence rate to SC3 and SC7 had extremely significantly positive relation with disease index(r=0.942 and r=0.956). The linearity regression analysis indicated, the incidence rate to SC3 and SC7 if only disease index to become the linear relations, the linear relations quite was remarkable. The incidence rate of SC3 and SC7 could explain 88.75% and 91.47% of the disease index variation, respectively. The analysis of the parental origins showed that the new lines was the most, were bred by the female from Hebei, account for 97, while the new lines was the most, were bred by the male from foreign varieties, account for 85. The resistance analysis showed that the average incidence rate and disease index to SC3 and SC7 of the offspring lines that were bred by the female from Hebei were relatively lower. These findings could provide reference for the prediction of Soybean mosaic virus disease and SMV resistance breeding.
