Genetic Mechanisms of Potato 2n gamete and Its Utility Value in Breeding

Abstract

Abstract: Based on a vast amount of data that reflected the development on research and use of 2 n gamete at home and abroad, this paper summarized the distribution of 2 n gamete in potato species, the basis of cytogenetics, and expounded emphatically the mechanisms of 2 n pollen formation, the types on 2n pollen and its genetic effect.Made an exhaustive discussion of the use value of 2 n gamete in the use of potato heterosis| breeding of ture potato seed| the affect transmited dominant gene and the affect synthesized and transfered the beneficial gene in wild resources.And analyzed the development tendency of the research and use of 2 n gemete.
