Abstract

Abstract: This paper described the larval morphology of Ostrivia furnacalis (Guenee) and Ostrinia sp.No significant differences between the two species were revealed by comparing the setae chaetotaxy.Some morphological characters were unstable, Borer XDa development status was the only usable character for diagnosis, In addition, a number of researches on the identification of larvae of pyralid allied species were reviewed,
