Abstract: In order to explore the seasonal changes of photosynthetic capacity, and the influence of prun on different varieties of Cerasus humilis, three introduced cultivars of Cerasus humilis were used as materials and local wild seedlings were used as control. The photosynthetic physiological indexes of four Cerasus humilis varieties under unprun and prun in June, July, August and September were explored using Li-6400 XT portable photosynthesiometer. The results showed that:Under the condition of unprun, the daily changes of net photosynthetic rate(Pn) of the four Cerasus humilis showed ″bimodal″ curves in June and July, and ″unimodal″ curves in August and September. The diurnal changes of stomatal conductance(Gs) and transpiration rate(Tr) were basically consistent with the diurnal changes of net photosynthetic rate(Pn), while the diurnal changes of intercellular carbon dioxide concentration(Ci) were basically opposite to the diurnal changes of net photosynthetic rate(Pn), the average daily photosynthetic rate(Pn) of each month was as follows:Nongda No.7 > Nongda No.5 > Ecological seedling > Nongda No. 6,and Nongda No.7 and Nongda No.6 showed significant difference(P<0.05). The average daily net photosynthetic rate(Pn) of the four Cerasus humilis was as follows:July > June > August > September. In July, the diurnal changes trend of the prun Cerasus humilis varieties were basically consistent with that of the unprun varieties, showing typical "bimodal" curve. The diurnal changes trend of prun Gs, Ci and Tr were consistent with that of the unprun varieties, and the peak value was higher than that of the unprun varieties. Except for the ecological seedlings, the average Pn, Gs and Tr of the other three prun varieties were significantly higher than those unprun(P<0.05). Therefore, the photosynthesis of Nongda No.5 and Nongda No.7 were the best, pruning was conducive to the photosynthesis of Cerasus humilis.
