Abstract: To investigate the effects of tobacco organizational structure development and chemical composition with different planting density and N application rate.Field experiment was carried out using Yueyan 98 as planting materials.Set up six different planting densities and N application processing.Respectively,in leaf length 30 cm,fixed length, mature collected in the upper and central part of fresh leaves and use paraffin methods, observe the organizational structure. The results showed that the thickness of palisade tissue, spongy tissue thickness, leaf thickness, palisade tissue density with the increase of planting density decreases with increasing nitrogen rate increases;the thickness of palisade tissue, spongy tissue thickness, leaf thickness, palisade tissue density,SLW and tobacco quality indicators total sugar, reducing sugar content, starch content was significantly or very significantly negatively correlated with nicotine content, total nitrogen content were significantly or very significantly positively correlated except for individual date;after roast total sugar content, sugar content, starch content increased with the increase of planting density and nitrogen application rate decreases, the nicotine content and total nitrogen content increased with planting density decreases with increasing nitrogen rate increases.By changing the planting density and nitrogen application rate can be varied leaf development characteristics of the organizational structure, internal coordination chemical composition of tobacco, and ultimately improve the quality of tobacco.
