Abstract: The purpose of this study was to explore optimized technology of nitrogen management,Zaohongqie No.1 was employed in the field experiment to investigate effects of combined application of organic and inorganic fertilizer and nitrogen management on yield and quality under the condition of 135 kg/ha was application. The results showed that the combined application of 25% organic fertilizer and 75% inorganic fertilizer harvested the highest plant height and stem diameter, and the eggplant yield and number of which was higher than other treatments.Based on the model of nitrogen amount-eggplant yield,we found that combined application of 25.8% organic fertilizer and 74.2% inorganic fertilizer harvested the highest yield, however, the combined application of 19% organic fertilizer and 81% inorganic fertilizer could captured both of the best economic benefit and higher yield.Either added nitrogen amount or fertilized during harvest-time not only reduced the content of soluble sugar and vitamin C but also increased the content of nitrite.
