Abstract: The study on the grain forage quality and yield of maize under different fertilization treatments in the farming—pastoral Inner Mongolia. It has great significance of ecological agriculture Construction in this region. We set six diffrent fertilization treatments and carried out in 2006 in Huhhot garden center.Inner Mongolia. We observed crude fat, crude protein, crude fiber, fresh weight, dry weight and yield of maize(Cheng 3359)during the whole growth period in different treatments. The results showed that:Crude fat of maize can be improved in organic and inorganic fertilization treatment, leaf, stem and ear increased 19.0%, 15.6%, 17.4%by no fertilization treatment in repining time.Crude protein of maize can be improved in organic and inorganic fertilization treatment, leaf, stem and ear in— creased 16.1%, 16.3%, 17.8%by no fertilization treatment in repining time.Crude fiber of maize can be decreased in organic and inorganic fertilization treatment, leaf, stem and ear decreased 18.7%, 7.4%, 18.4%by no fertilization treatment in repining time.Yield of maize straw and fruit ear can be improved in organic and inorganic fertilization treatment.yield of maize straw and fruit ear increased 9.1%, 16.2%by no fertilization treatment after harvest.There. fore.COW dung+nitrogen+phosphorus will be a effective measurement to improve crop yield and quality in farm· ing·pastoral region. It can also provide a basis for interdependent development between agriculture and animal husbandry in farming—pastoral region.
