Abstract: To investigate the effect of nicotinamide (NA)on energy metabolism of mice hepatocytes in vitro, hepatocytes were cultured in the presence of 0,100 ,200, 300,400 and 500 μmol/L of NA for 24 h,then nitric oxide (NO), nitric oxide synthase (NOS)and three indexes lactic acid(LD), lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)and adenosine triphosphatase (ATPase) were assessed by kits. Results showed that 200 μmol/L instead of 500 μmol/L NA significantly stimulated energy metabolism of mice hepatocytes ,which suggested that NA can promote energy metabolism of mice hepatocytes in vitro.
