Abstract: Combining ability and heritability of bolting and flowering characters of six fine cabbage inbred lines were analyzed using Griffing diallel cross Ⅳ.The results showed that:the general combining ability of inbred lines 05521-2 and 04M9-2 were better, with as bolting-resistant potential parental materials;the broad sense heritability and narrow sense heritability of bolting and flowering characters were 92.6%,50.04% and 92.09%,67.28% respectively, and mainly affected by additive genes. So,the selection of bolting and flowering characters in cabbage were effective in early generations.
