Abstract: Polymorphism information contents (PIC) of amplified bands among different groups in Prunus persica and related species in Prunus were analyzed using RAPD(Randomly Amplif ied Polymorphism DNA) technology. The results expressed: The experimented 21 primers could provided the highest PIC in Peach and related species in Prunus as thefirst, cherry ( P. cerasus, P. avium) and mume(P. mume) as the second, plum(P. salicina ) and apricot(P. armeniaca) as the third. 11 primers were suitable for detecting PIC of accessions composed of above mentioned species. Each species had its primers with higher PIC whose value changed from 1 for P. salicina to 21 for P.persica. The experimented primers could provided higher PIC in Yellow peach, Red??leaf peach, Flat peach, Juicy peach among groups. 9primers were considerable for providing higher PIC for accessions among different groups in Prunus persica. Primers that could provide higher PIC in single group changed from 1 for Juicy peach to 18 for Yellow peach. According to indexes of PIC, they could be used in molecular analysis in prunus, proving selectable primers and diversity for the experiment accessions direct ly perceived through the senses.

Key words: Species in prunus, Groups in Prunus persica, Polymorphism information contents (PIC)
