Abstract: Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA(RAPD) is employed as a tool to evaluate the pumpkin Jinli and Hongli hybrid purity. Two primer(N481)(N31) have been selected.N481 and N31 generated specific product in the F1 and the male parent. So it can be used to distinguished the female parent from the Jinli and Hongli F1 hybrid indoor. The result of the test shows a great similarity to that of farmland test.
