Abstract: Different tissues and the optimal time fitting for quick DNA extraction technique were compared. The results showed that the technique was well applied in the following tissues for DNA extraction: embryo, endosperm, radicel cultivated in water, coleoptile germinated 1-3 d, hypocotyl germinated 3-5 d materials. But the DNA extracted from tender leaf, coleoptile, radicel missing optimal time was failed amplification.

Key words: Quick DNA extraction, Maize, Embryo, Endosperm
